Build and Defend Your Raft Raid Loadouts

Three kits: steal from pallets, break a door, or haul crates without eating a counter-board.

Raid Loadouts

A loadout is the bag you are willing to lose. Build and Defend Your Raft raids fail when people leave in their entire life: every gun, every stack, door open. This page splits three kits. Use them with how to raid and the loot checklist.

There are no named legendaries to list yet. Slots are jobs. Fill them with whatever the Crafting Table has actually unlocked. Ranked tool jobs live on gear.

Light steal (default solo)

Goal: empty pallets and open chests.

  • Gather tool on slot one
  • Cheap fight tool on slot two
  • Empty bag space
  • No furniture, no extra guns

Swim, grab, leave. If the owner is home, you abort. This kit exists so a death is annoying, not a wipe. Controls — hotbar those two slots and stop scrolling.

Break kit (crew or bored veterans)

Goal: a door that is actually closed.

  • Fight tool you can keep on target
  • Whatever break or explosive the table has given you this week (use the live recipe, not a rumor)
  • One heal or food if the game offers it
  • Still leave spare bag space

You need a crew anchor at home or you are betting the ring. Skip S-tier layouts until you have practiced on C-tier docks.

Haul kit (after the first crate)

Goal: second trip.

  • Empty bag
  • No extra weapons you care about
  • A plan to dump into your chest in under fifteen seconds

People die on the second trip because they got greedy and toured the server. Home, dump, close door, then maybe go again.

What never goes on a raid

Your only stack of plates. The last wall bundle. Cosmetics. The Crafting Table itself (yes, someone will try to “move” it mid-fight). If a code just paid out, spend it at home first (what codes give).

  5. Empty

Flags do not belong here. If you need a flag to feel like a pirate, put it on the roof after you return.

Scripts

ESP loadouts are still loadouts plus a ban. If you use them anyway, do not also run kill aura. Scripts and how to use are the warning labels. This page assumes a fair bag.

After Saturday

If a patch adds a real named gun, it goes in the fight slot of the kit that matches its job, not in a new fake tier. Check Saturday patches and the live table before you rebuild a ritual.

A sample solo minute

You close the door. You look at the water. Two pallets, one fortress. You take light steal, swim to the frowning avatar, grab the visible crate, and leave without climbing their ladder a second time. Home. Dump. Door. That minute is a win even if the crate was small, because your plates are still yours.

If you instead took every gun, died on their lip, and respawned to an empty chest room, the minute was a loss with extra swimming. The kit is the difference, not the speech you gave in chat.

Naming things as they appear

When a Saturday patch prints a real named gun, put it in the fight slot of the kit that matches its job. A slow heavy tool is break-kit only. A fast cheap tool is light steal. Do not invent a fourth kit called “sweaty” that is just break plus your entire storage. That is how loadouts stop meaning anything.

Check the live Crafting Table after Saturday patches before you ritualize a hotbar you saw on a thumbnail from a different raft game.

Pick light steal until your ring is boring. Then break. Then haul. That order is how raiders keep their own chests.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for raft builders and raiders.

What is the best raid loadout?

Light steal: gather tool, cheap fight tool, empty bag. Anything heavier is a bet against your own door.

Should I take all my guns?

No. Take what you can lose. A wipe with a full armory is how you reset the hour.

Can a crew run different kits?

Yes. One break, one haul, one anchor at home.
